Instruction Method Used
- Be a teacher, not just a voice.
- Observe all students at all times, every second.
- Speak with authority, power, clear and loud so you would have their attention and not bore them.
- Explain everything to them in FULL detail, giving exact directioning with every part of the body and its position.
- While you teach, act as if all your students are blind, explaining everything in full step-by-step detail.
- Do not give too much rest in between drills and warm-ups, so the students keep their heart rate up for a better workout.
- Do not stand in place while you are teaching; always walk around the class so all the students know they are getting attention.
- Do not loose your temper, always keep your cool. Put yourself in their shoes.
- Always correct the student when the error occurs. Don't wait.
- As you are drilling the students over their practice, you should be thinking of the next exercise.
- Remember if the instructor is lazy and boring, the class will be lazy and boring. Keep in mind the tone of voice is very important, your body movement is also very important. (Be motivational.)
